Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients:

  • 1 (6.5 oz) container of Alouette Cheese with herbs or any soft herbed cheese like Boursin
  • 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze or reduction
  • Pita chips, crackers, or thinly sliced baguette for serving

Instructions

  1. Place a clean, dry plate or small platter on your prep surface. Evenly spread the soft herbed cheese across the center, leaving a 1/4 inch border around the edge.
  2. Chop the tomatoes into small pieces and scatter them evenly over the cheese layer.
  3. Finely chop the fresh basil and sprinkle it over the tomatoes.
  4. Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the top in a criss-cross pattern. A little goes a long way.
  5. Serve immediately with pita chips, crackers, or baguette slices.
