Linguini:

  • 16 oz linguini

Buttering the Casserole Dish:

  • 1/4 cup butter, softened

Main Ingredients:

  • 1 rotisserie chicken, shredded
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated

Tetrazzini Sauce Base:

  • 2 10.5 oz cans cream of chicken condensed soup
  • 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened
  • 5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1.5 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tsp dried parsley, plus more for topping
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Cook the noodles: Boil noodles to al dente according to package instructions while preparing the sauce base.
  3. Prepare the sauce base: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together cream of chicken soup, cream cheese, minced garlic, sour cream, chicken broth, parsley, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Add half of the shredded cheeses, chicken, and noodles. Toss until well coated.
  4. Assemble the dish: Butter a casserole dish, transfer the pasta mixture into it, and spread evenly. Top with remaining cheese and dried parsley.
