  • 1 ¾ cups chicken broth
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • ½ chicken bouillon cube
  • ½ teaspoon EACH: onion powder, oregano, basil, parsley

Chicken/Other

  • 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt/Pepper
  • 2 teaspoons parsley
  • 12 tablespoons olive oil
  • ¾ cup dry white wine
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Combine the sauce ingredients: In a large measuring cup, combine chicken broth, heavy cream, Worcestershire sauce, mustard powder, honey, chicken bouillon cube, onion powder, oregano, basil, and parsley. Set aside.
  2. Slice and pound the chicken: Slice the chicken breasts in half lengthwise to create thinner slices. Pound them to ½ inch thickness and season with salt, pepper, and parsley.
  3. Sear the chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet, sear the chicken until golden, then set aside.
  4. Deglaze the skillet: Add wine to the skillet, scrape up browned bits, and cook with garlic until reduced by half.
  5. Make the sauce: Add butter and flour, then slowly add the sauce mixture. Simmer for 8 minutes.
  6. Finish the sauce: Stir in Parmesan cheese and lemon juice until smooth.
  7. Combine chicken and sauce: Add chicken back to the skillet, coat with sauce, and heat through.
  8. Serve: Garnish with parsley and serve with mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables.

  • You can substitute the dry white wine with chicken broth if preferred.
