Dry Ingredients:
- 2 ½ Cups Old-Fashioned Oats
- 2 Cup All Purpose Flour
- 1 Cup Light Brown Sugar
- ½ Cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 1 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
Wet Ingredients:
- 1 Cup Unsalted Butter, Melted
- 2 Eggs
- 1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract
Additional:
- 1 ½ Cups Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips
- Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 350 degrees F and grease and line a 9×13 baking pan with parchment paper.
- Mix Together Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, combine the oats, flour, light brown sugar, granulated sugar, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon; mix to combine.
- Add in the Wet Ingredients: Add the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until all ingredients are fully combined.
- Add the Chocolate Chips: Fold the chocolate chips into the batter.
- Bake: Spread the dough evenly into the prepared baking pan. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until the bars are a light golden color and set in the middle.
- Sprinkle with Salt, Cool, and Slice: Once the bars come out of the oven, sprinkle the top with coarse sea salt. Allow the bars to cool completely before cutting into squares. Serve and enjoy!
