Fruit Base
- ½ cup frozen pitaya (dragon fruit)
- ½ banana
- ½ cup frozen strawberries
- ½ cup frozen mango
- ½ cup pineapple juice
Liquid Ingredients
- ¾ cup canned coconut milk
- 1 tbsp milk or water (for adjusting consistency)
- Blend: Combine the frozen pitaya, banana, strawberries, mango, pineapple juice, and coconut milk in a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy, ensuring all the frozen fruit is well incorporated without large chunks.
- Pour: Transfer the blended mixture into the Ninja Creami container, filling it up to the indicated fill line to avoid overflow during processing.
- Freeze: Place the container upright in the freezer and freeze for 24 hours to achieve the ideal texture.
- Mix: Insert the frozen container into the Ninja Creami machine and select the Light Ice Cream setting to process the mixture into a creamy pitaya bowl.
- Add Milk: Using a butter knife, carefully create a small hole in the center of the processed pitaya mixture. Pour 1 tablespoon of milk or water into the hole to improve creaminess and texture.
- Respin: Return the container to the Ninja Creami and activate the Re-spin function to mix the added liquid thoroughly and perfect the consistency.
- Enjoy: Remove the finished pitaya bowl from the machine and serve immediately for a refreshing, healthy treat.
Notes
- Use frozen fruit to achieve a thick and creamy bowl texture without added ice.
- Adjust the amount of milk or water added to suit your preferred consistency.
- If you don’t have a Ninja Creami, you can blend and freeze the mixture in an ice cream maker or enjoy as a smoothie bowl directly from the blender.
- For extra toppings, consider fresh fruit, granola, seeds, or nuts.
