Batter:
- 1 stick (8 tablespoons) salted butter, cubed
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup light or dark brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
